Just as in their first meeting Cerezo Osaka Sakai took the lead, and on this occasion managed to hold on to the lead until well into the game. Their hitherto most impressive player, captain Nishida Meika, had given them the lead until Setagaya's top scorer Mori Hitomi hit a brace. Nagasawa Yume and Oshima Sayuri also scored as Setagaya eventually came away easy victors and their march towards the Nadeshiko League continues in impressive fashion.

Bunnys Kyoto have recovered well lately, picking up nine points in three games against three sides below them. Having lost to their visitors from Ehime in the opening game they were determined not to go down easily this time around. Kushige Aoi scored in the first half and they held the lead until the 73rd minute when Iwamoto Yuka combined with Nakada Maiko, with the veteran scoring her third of the season to rescue a point for her side. Both sides are now some distance behind the promotion challengers.

There were no late dramatics this time for Tokiwagi Gakuen as they tore Nagano apart right from the kick off. Highlights included new pupil Kobayashi Rikako's first league goal since 2010, two more for local girl Sasaki Miwa, and Kawasaki and Komori both netting their second of the season. Nagano have significant work to do if they are to challenge for promotion next season.

Je Vrille Kagoshima were once again heavily beaten, this time by the visitors from Shizuoka, who have now scored as many goals in eight goals this season as they did in all 22 games of 2012. Sayama Momoko once again started up front and she scored two of her side's goals. Nishiyama Mei also scored twice to take her season's total to seven. For Kagoshima Saito scored a late goal and Oh Yu Sun was sent off very late in the game for a second bookable offence. Shizuoka's next match is a crunch tie against the impressive Nojima Stella Kanagawa. Kagoshima travel to play the JFA Academy in Gotenba, and all expectations are that they will be heavily beaten again.

Nittaidai had a facile win over Pleiades as they look to find some form entering the second third of the season. Uchida Misuzu scored on fifteen minutes to relieve any nerves the students may have had, with Oguri and Fuse also scoring late on, the latter with her first goal since enrolling from Kamimura Gakuen.

The home side were unable to hold on for a point as the resurgent JFA Academy came away with all three points. Nakajo Yui scored her first of the season, with Nakashima Ayaka scoring her fourth to equalise. In the second half  Miyake Shiori scored her second in two games having come on as a substitute. The JSCL next look to repeat their early season defeat of Nittaidai, the Academy girls will expect a tidy win over Kagoshima.
