68th National Sports Festival of Japan - Final Match

Third-Place Play-off Match, played on Thursday, 3rd of October:

Match 15:
Ehime  2 - 1  Kagoshima
(Attendance: 547)

Ehime left it late to beat Kagoshima to third place, their best ever finish. Nakachi Hinako opened the scoring for Kagoshima, with Kushiyama Saki and Akune Mana replying for Ehime.


Final Match, played on Thursday, 3rd of October:

Match 16:
Miyagi  1 - 0  Hyogo
(Attendance: 1,519)

Miyagi have retained the National Sports Festival title with the only goal coming fittingly from local heroine Sasaki Miwa nine minutes from time. Hirata Miki was sent off for Miyagi in the early stages of the second half for a second bookable offence, but the ten women of Miyagi had enough to see off Hyogo.
