Six Contenders for Challenge League Entry

Six teams have been given permission to enter the Challenge League for the 2014 season. A qualifying tournament will be held from November 2nd to 4th.

The six teams have been split into two groups of three by way of lottery, and a round robin tournament for each group will be held. Hoyo Sukarabu FC have withdrawn from the Challenge League so the winners of the two blocks below will play against each other. The winner will thus be automatically promoted; the loser will go on to meet Je Vrille Kagoshima.

The six teams vying for entry are:

A Block:
Norddea Hokkaido (relegated in 2011)
Ange Violet Hiroshima
Mashiki Renaissance Kumamoto (relegated in 2010)

B Block:
AS Harima Albion
Niigata University of Health and Welfare
NGU Nagoya FC Ladies

The play-off between the two winners is scheduled to be held on November 9th and the losing team will play-off against Je Vrille Kagoshima on either November 16th or 17th.
