Nittaidai had good chances to score in this game, Uemura in particular missed two one-on-one opportunities in the first half, but it was again Nagano who did the necessary and they are fifteen points clear overnight, and a further seventeen points clear of today's opponents who are third. Hamagaki Kana scored just her third of the season to open the scoring five minutes after the restart, with more regular goal scorer Yokoyama Kumi netting a second five minutes later, with Hamagaki assisting. With just three minutes remaining the JSC looked set to win just their second game of the season, but two late Setagaya goals meant that it is they who take the three precious points, moving them further away from trouble at the bottom, where the home side still reside. Tsurumi Marina scored her third of the season early in the game and Sakaguchi Yuki restored the hosts' lead with nineteen minutes remaining after Yamamoto Naomi had equalised for Setagaya. Yamamoto also scored the second equaliser, her third goal in two games, and in additional time the tall Tanaka Mariko headed home a corner to win the game. Iga were very upset at the end of this game as they conceded a late penalty kick which denied them a point they deserved following an even game. The visitors took the lead on fifty-two minutes, Suzuki heading in a right-sided Sugita free kick, but three minutes later Sendai were level, with the goal coming exactly the same way: Ono Hitomi heading in Nakano Manami's right-sided free kick. Thereafter the going was tough in the wet conditions, and Iga picked up an extraordinary five bookings along the way, the final one for Ohashi Mio, who was unfortunate to handle in the box. Kawamura Yuri stepped up to take the penalty, scoring in a fashion that suggests she doesn't usually expect to have such a responsibility. There was little or no time for Iga to respond and they now have to focus on facing INAC Kobe in Nagoya. Vegalta Sendai play Saitama in Konosu.

INAC Kobe retook the lead of the division with this win over Takatsuki in the Kansai derby, as they as expected had too much for the visitors to handle. Takase Megumi's remarkable record of scoring in every game she's played this season continued, as she got on the end of a Ito Kanako free kick. Takase's opening goal was levelled by Tsuboi Ayako four minutes later, Narumiya Yui picking up a loose ball in the box to cross with Tsuboi finishing off. Kobe were too strong in the second half and two goals, the first from Kyokawa after sixty-seven minutes - with the Takatsuki defence unable to deal well after the ball hit the post. On eighty-four minutes Kawasumi Nahomi made sure with a third for the hosts, easily finishing after Masuya had taken the ball from midfield to shoot herself - the Takatsuki defence again letting themselves down. They stay bottom and are very unlikely to escape the bottom four, though a good start would be a victory over JEF United on Sunday. Kobe play Iga in Nagoya.

Iga were very upset at the end of this game as they conceded a late penalty kick which denied them a point they deserved following an even game. The visitors took the lead on fifty-two minutes, Suzuki heading in a right-sided Sugita free kick, but three minutes later Sendai were level, with the goal coming exactly the same way: Ono Hitomi heading in Nakano Manami's right-sided free kick. INAC Kobe retook the lead of the division with this win over Takatsuki in the Kansai derby, as they as expected had too much for the visitors to handle. Takase Megumi's remarkable record of scoring in every game she's played this season continued, as she got on the end of a Ito Kanako free kick. Takase's opening goal was levelled by Tsuboi Ayako four minutes later, Narumiya Yui picking up a loose ball in the box to cross with Tsuboi finishing off. Kobe were too strong in the second half and two goals, the first from Kyokawa after sixty-seven minutes - with the Takatsuki defence unable to deal well after the ball hit the post. On eighty-four minutes Kawasumi Nahomi made sure with a third for the hosts, easily finishing after Masuya had taken the ball from midfield to shoot herself - the Takatsuki defence again letting themselves down. They stay bottom and are very unlikely to escape the bottom four, though a good start would be a victory over JEF United on Sunday. Kobe play Iga in Nagoya.
