Despite being second best in goal-scoring chances, Fukuoka took the lead in this game when captain Fujisawa Marin combined well with Yanagita Shiori just before half time. Yokohama piled on the pressure in the second half and their top scorer this season, Yoshida Mizuki, benefitted from a goalkeeping error to level the scores. The second leg is on Sunday.

In front of a record crowd Nojima Stella recovered from a two-goal deficit to end the first leg level with Takatsuki against whom they hope for better next week. Takatsuki scored both of their goals in the first half, Narumiya Yui and Sato Kaede adding to their season's tallies with fine goals. Nojima scored their first from a corner kick, with the last touch in a crowded penalty area coming off a Takatsuki player. Another mistake in the visitor's defence allowed substitute Nagasawa Madoka to level the tie deep into additional time. The second leg is on Saturday afternoon.
