Sfida Setagaya FC 3 - 5 Ehime FC Ladies
(Attendance: 423)
An entertaining game in Tokyo, which evoked memories of Ehime's 6-4 victory over the same opposition in 2012, saw the Shikoku side maintain their top-half status, with Setagaya dropping well off the pace. A lead goal for Setagaya from Tanaka Mariko was matched by one from Oya Ayumi to make it a 1-1 game at half-time gave no indication of the intensity to come after the break.
Ehime scored four goals in twenty-seven second-half minutes to win the game. Oya scored twice to complete her first ever league hat-trick and there were further goals from Akune Mana and Kamata Ran. Setagaya weren't lying down, and did respond with goals from Sunoki and Tanaka Marina but ultimately were outclassed.
Ehime have a much greater test at home next week to Nagano, Setagaya welcome Harima, another side ahead of them in the table.
