Yokohama return to the top of the table with a comprehensive victory over Norddea in Sapporo today, with an early goal from the division's top scorer Yoshida Mizuki setting them on their way. The home side were unable to get things going and on the hour mark Sato Nagisa doubled the lead, with a further goal a few minutes later from Muta Kaori finally ending the home side's hopes. Both sides next play on the weekend of the 20th of June.

Kumamoto's third win in four games has given them belief that they can survive this season, and with the quality in the division so poor, it may well be possible if they can hold their nerve. Nagoya are bottom and are really struggling at this level. The only goal of the game came with twenty-one minutes remaining, Kurahara Honami heading in after she herself started the move. Nagoya next play on the 13th, Kumamoto must wait until the 21st for their next outing.

Nishida Meika's twelfth-minute goal, her fourth in three games, was enough for the home side to see off the challenge of second-placed Shizuoka Sangyo, creating an eleven-point gap at the top. As in every game thus far, Cerezo Osaka Sakai's young players have dominated from start to finish and it is only a matter of time before they guarantee a spot in the end-of-season playoffs. Shizuoka stay second and if they can find form should be able to stay ahead of the pack in what is a very weak division. Shizuoka next play on the 13th, with Cerezo Osaka Sakai not back in action until the 21st.
