Challenge League Promotion Play-Offs Final Match

AS Harima Albion have been promoted to the Challenge League for the 2014 season. Ange Violet Hiroshima will play off against Je Vrille Kagoshima next Sunday, November 17th for the final remaining place in the Challenge League. Congratulations to everyone at AS Harima Albion.

Ange Violet Hiroshima  1 - 2  AS Harima Albion (aet)
(Attendance: 1,635)

A goal two minutes from time scored by Hyogo native Momii Mika seemed to be enough to put AS Harima Albion into the Challenge League just eleven months after their formation, but an equaliser at the death from Hiroshima youngster Saihara Mizuki sent the game into extra time. Harima were not disheartened and came back strongly with Momii scoring again six minutes into the first extra period. This time there would be no comeback and AS Harima Albion take their place in the Challenge League. Ange Violet will try again next weekend, and given the weaknesses of Je Vrille Kagoshima this season, they will feel very confident of promotion.
