Challenge League Seventh Round

Yokohama FC Seagulls  0 - 3  Tokiwagi Gakuen High School
(Attendance: 421)

Yokohama suffered a shock home defeat to Tokiwagi Gakuen, whom they had been recently in Matsushima. A missed penalty for the home side midway through the first half dented their confidence and although they had far more of the shooting chances, it was the schoolgirls who found the target. All three goals came in the second half, Kuratani and Kobayashi adding to their tallies for the season with Numazawa Miyu scoring her first ever goal in the league.

Bunnys Kyoto SC  0 - 1  Mashiki Renaissance Kumamoto
(Attendance: 486)

Former Ehime player Kutsuna Arisa scored her first ever league goal in the fifty-fourth minute to win the tie, which puts Kumamoto in fifth, ahead of Nagoya on goal difference. Bunnys, two points and two places ahead, look less and less likely to challenge for a top-two spot.

Until their victory two weeks ago against Tokiwagi Gakuen the side had been struggling, leading to the resignation of manager Miura Masayuki. Two goals early in the second half set Norddea up for the win, and although the visitors responded with a goal from Fukasawa Miki, Kannari Miki's second of the game was enough to see the hosts take all three points.
