Challenge League Fourteenth Round

Yokohama FC Seagulls  2 - 1  Tsukuba FC Ladies
(Attendance: 353)

This match was played on August 22nd

This result both guaranteed that Yokohama will contest the end-of-year playoffs and that Tsukuba will finish bottom of the division in their debut season, with the possibility of relegation.

The Seagulls were up and running very quickly, veterans Yamamoto Emi and Tanaka Keiko both scoring before twenty minutes had elapsed, and although Kamei Yumi made it close on the scoreboard with a goal before half-time, the home side were never in danger of being caught. The Seagulls next play Norddea Hokkaido at home on September 5th, Tsukuba are also next at home, they host the NUHW the following day.
