Challenge League Eleventh Round

Tokiwagi Gakuen High School  3 - 0  Tsukuba FC Ladies
(Attendance: 200)

This game was played on July 12th

Tsukuba returned to the scene of their only league win thus far, but the home side were in no mood for another surprise and within a few minutes Kobayashi Rikako had won and scored a penalty kick to give her side the lead. Tsukuba barely registered a shot on target in the entire game and in the sweltering heat Tokiwagi Gakuen could take their time. Two further goals followed, once from Kuratani Narumi which Tsukuba goalkeeper Kunika Shoko almost saved and a late strike Suzuki Hinako in additional time was her first ever league goal.

Tsukuba replaced Aoki Risa with Kawasaki Shiori coming for her fifth start of the season

Kobayashi Rikako scythes her way through the Tsukuba defence and is brought down for a penalty kick by goalkeeper Kunika Shoko

Kobayashi scores easily and now lead the Challenge League scoring chart with nine goals

Kuratani Narumi broke free and took this early shot at goal...

Kunika valiantly tried to stop the shot but it found its way home as the hosts took charge

Kamei Yumi, a graduate of nearby Seiwa Gakuen, takes on Takahashi Anna of Tokiwagi Gakuen

One of many good chances created by the direct running of Takahashi...

Kikuchi Sayaka just did enough to prevent Kuratani from scoring a second

In additional time Suzuki Hinako scored her first ever league goal to complete a fine victory
