23rd All-Japan Women's Inter-Collegiate Championships - Final Matches

Third-Place Match, played on Sunday 18th of January:

Match 23:
Musashigaoka College  0 - 6  Kibi International University

(Attendance: 2,150)

Kibi International University had a very easy win over Musashigaoka College to claim third place, with a hat-trick from Nishikawa Asuka in her final game for the team the highlight. Kibi's other scorers were Takatsuka Ayane, Hamamoto Marin and final year student Muramatsu Mafuyu.

Like Nishikawa, Muramatsu Mafuyu is a fourth-year student from Hokkaido.

A tight and even match in which defences dominated ended up going to a penalty shoot-out, where Nittaidai's players held their nerve better to win and take their sixteenth intercollegiate title.
