Je Vrille Kagoshima  0 - 1  Shimizu Daihachi Pleiades

(Attendance: 308)

Shimizu Daihachi Pleiades emerged the victors from this do-or-die game and may have done enough to ensure survival for another year. Kagoshima, with just one point and an appalling goal difference ratio, now look destined to be relegated regardless of whom they face in a play-off. Even with ten games remaining the only team they look capable of beating is bottom side Hoyo Sukarabu. Kawachi Erika who joined pre-season from Bunnys was the Pleiades heroine, scoring the only goal in the fourth minute to give her new side their first win of the season.

JFA Academy Fukushima  2 - 1  Nittaidai Football Club Ladies

(Attendance: 117)

Having gained revenge over Shizuoka Sangyo in style last weekend, Nittaidai's students were surprisingly beaten by the JFA Academy today, who were without three of their big name players: Miyake, Kojima and Norimatsu. After a scoreless first half, Tachibana and Mizutani scored in the first eleven minutes after the restart and although Uemura - starting for the first time - scored her third goal in three consecutive games, Nittaidai left it far too late to rescue a point. These teams meet again in three weeks in Yokohama.

Tokiwagi Gakuen High School  4 - 2  Sfida Setagaya FC
(Attendance: 200)

Tokiwagi Gakuen repeated the trick against Sfida Setagaya and in denting the leaders' promotion hopes have improved their own title chances significantly. Though not seeking promotion themselves, there is a deep determination to regain top spot in the division following a disappointing 2012 season. First year student Kobayashi Rikako has been very impressive and opened the scoring in the fourteenth minute - her third in four games. Less than a minute later Tokiwagi had another, Shiraki scoring from a Sasaki pass. Setagaya pulled a goal back on 29 minutes - Usuda Haruka with her season opener - to give the visitors hope at half time. Tokiwagi weren't finished though, and Sasaki scored with fifteen minutes remaining to end Setagaya's hopes of staying top. Two goals were scored in additional time - Mitamura Momoko for Tokiwagi and Shimojo Aya with her tenth of the season direct from a corner kick.

Ehime FC Ladies  0 - 2  Fukuoka J. Anclas
(Attendance: 250)

On a soggy pitch Fukuoka came away with all three points having failed to beat Ehime at home earlier in the season. The victory keeps the Kyushu outfit in touch with the leaders though the feeling is that they will have to improve significantly if they are to overtake the three sides above them. The reliable Tagashira and Fujimoto both scored again - a goal in each half - with Ehime missing a penalty to add further misery to their situation. They are now well behind their target though will hope to improve against Cerezo Osaka Sakai next week, against whom they lost earlier in the season. Fukuoka have another major test next weekend away to Tokiwagi Gakuen, for whom this is very much a match they want to win following their defeat in Fukuoka.

Bunnys Kyoto SC  1 - 4  Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies
(Attendance: 250)

Bunnys were embarrassed at home today by Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies, who have now started to play well and with a settled side. Bunnys were no match for the schoolgirls in the first half, with Nishida Meika scoring twice to add to Matsubara's opening goal. Four minutes into the second half Saito Natsumi scored to give Bunnys hope, but their efforts were in vain and with ten minutes remaining Hayashi eased home a loose ball for a fine win for the visitors.

AC Nagano Parceiro Ladies  3 - 1  Hoyo Sukarabu FC
(Attendance: 331)

Hanabusa Misa scored her first ever league goal today, to give her new side Hoyo Sukarabu the lead over her old side Nagano. Hoyo have played poorly this season, though have still looked more impressive than their fellow strugglers and could yet survive in the Challenge League if they can beat both Pleiades and Kagoshima. Today, they were no match for last season's strugglers Nagano, who came back to win 3-1 despite only having three shots in the entire match. Hamagaki equalised on twenty minutes, with the winning goals coming in the second half from Aoshima Miyabi and again from Hamagaki. Hoyo are likely to lose again next week to Setagaya, but keeping the score down will be important. Nagano play Bunnys as both seek a top ten finish.
