Okayama Yunogo Belle  1 - 0  Speranza FC Osaka Takatsuki
(Attendance: 1,818)

Takahashi Chiho scored her second goal in Belle colours to give them a vital win over Takatsuki, who are struggling both in football and in financial terms. A long ball forward from Takahashi Sachie saw the tall forward outrun her former Kibi team mate Takeda Arisa and she poked the ball home to the delight of the home side. After the international break Belle are once again at home, this time against JEF United. Takatsuki will spend the break raising money to help them in their money woes, their next game is away to Saitama.

(Attendance: 1,086)

Last season Iga came to Chiba, took a two-goal lead and in the final minutes conceded three times to lose the game. Today things weren't quite so bad, as JEF United scored just two to take a point. Sugita Ami scored from the spot to give Iga the lead going in at half-time, and Sonomura Nana scored her first to double the lead. JEF United's two goals also came from players scoring for the first time this season: Anzai Yuka in the seventy-first minute followed by a last-gasp equaliser from Setoguchi Kozue. Vegalta Sendai Ladies  3 - 2  Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies
(Attendance: 2,087)

Vegalta Sendai's fifth successive win following an exciting game resulted in their guranteeing themselves a place in the upper section for the Exciting Series, making up for last season's disappointment. Former Sendai defender Osafune Kana came back into the Urawa starting XI for the first time since the opening game. Sendai took the lead early, an unmarked Sakai Yuki finishing off following a corner kick. Urawa came back strongly, and an equaliser was inevitable. Goto Michi scored a fine goal to level, her first since the opening weekend and better was to come for the visitors when Kira Chinatsu scored a second twelve minutes later.

Vegalta Sendai brought Inoue Ayaka on at half-time and she first helped to set up the equalising goal on the hour mark before scoring the winner herself four minutes later, Nakano Manami giving the final pass on both occasions.

Urawa stay in the bottom four though have every chance of making the top six. Vegalta want more, and their next match against Beleza will be unmissable.

INAC Kobe Leonessa  2 - 1  AS Elfen Saitama
(Attendance: 6,067)

Takase Megumi took just thirty seconds to continue her remarkable record of scoring in every game she has played this season, as INAC Kobe took on bottom side Saitama in Kochi. The hosts couldn't add to their tally though, and on sixty-one minutes Saitama had an equaliser, Takano Saki striking a fine free kick which was just too high for Kaihori Ayumi to save. This proved to be just a temporary setback for INAC Kobe, who restored their lead seconds later, Kyokawa Mai scoring her third goal in three games to win the game, though Saitama did acquit themselves well and will have felt they could have taken a point. Their next game is a crucial fixture against Takatsuki; INAC Kobe travel to Niigata.

Albirex Niigata Ladies  1 - 0  Nippon TV Beleza
(Attendance: 1,331)

A first loss of the season for Beleza leaves them four points behind leaders INAC Kobe, and they are now only ahead of Vegalta Sendai on goal difference. The only goal came from Oishi Sayaka and this surprise victory is a massive boost for Niigata, as it pulls them out of the bottom four and within six points of JEF United, who are fourth. Nittaidai Fields Yokohama  3 - 0  Japan Soccer College Ladies
(Attendance: 101)

Nittaidai did what was necessary against a JSC side with little to offer in either defence or attack. Uemura Shoko scored her sixth goal of the season in the first half, with two more for the home side coming not long after the restart, Hirata's fifth of the season followed by a debut goal for Sato Mitsuki, only promoted to the top side before the game. Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara  4 - 3  Ange Violet Hiroshima
(Attendance: 676)

A twenty-minute four-goal blitz from Nojima was just about enough to see off Ange Violet, who came back with two late goals to cause panic in Sagamihara. The visitors had taken the lead, Katsurama Fumina with her third goal in three games. Nojima's usual goal-scoring suspects then piled on the pressure: Kawashima, Gonno, Oyama and Tanaka in that order before Kuramoto and Yamaguchi began a comeback which wasn't quite enough. Nojima will be very confident of victory in their next match against the JSC, who are bottom. They will hope that Ange Violet can do them a favour against Nagano.

FC Kibikokusaidaigaku Charme  2 - 0  Fukuoka J. Anclas
(Attendance: 390)

Kibi won their fourth game of the season today, all four coming against the bottom two sides. Hamamoto Marin has had a quiet season and she scored just her second goal in first half additional time. AS Harima Albion  2 - 2  Sfida Setagaya FC
(Attendance: 448)

Setagaya once again scored a late goal to take a point, this time against Harima who were desperate to win to get themselves back in with a chance of promotion, but that scenario looks highly remote for both sides with ten games remaining. Chiba Sonoko scored both of the hosts' goals, bringing her to ten for the season. Nagata Maya scored her first this season to bring the sides level early in the second half, with Setagaya's second equaliser coming from the same source which won them last week's game, a headed goal from a corner by Tanaka Mariko.

AC Nagano Parceiro Ladies  1 - 0  Ehime FC Ladies
(Attendance: 1,475)

Yokoyama Kumi kept up her tremendous scoring form with the only goal of a tight game in front of another good crowd to keep Nagano well clear on top. Ehime brought Ueno Mami in for her first start of the season and she did produce some efforts on goal, but the home side's defence stood strong and she and her Ehime team mates were unable to find an equaliser. Yokoyama will not be available for Nagano's next game on Sunday against Ange Violet as she has joined the national squad. Ehime host Harima a day earlier.

Nadeshiko League Division 1 Twelfth Round

Nippon TV Beleza  2 - 1  Okayama Yunogo Belle
(Attendance: 3,338)

Belle's recent recovery was brought to a halt in Kanagawa as Beleza continued to keep pace with INAC Kobe at the top of the table. Tanaka Mina scored her eighth goal of the season to give her side the lead at half-time, but Belle equalised through Okubo Mai, a first ever league goal for the Fujieda Junshin graduate. Belle couldn't hold on though, and there was to be joy for Muramatsu Tomoko, who also scored her first ever league goal to give Beleza the win. They next travel to Niigata, Belle host Takatsuki against whom they will be confident of a win.

Speranza FC Osaka Takatsuki  0 - 0  JEF United Ichihara Chiba Ladies
(Attendance: 674)

Both sides had chances to win this game in Takatsuki but neither could find the net and a draw does little good to either side. Takatsuki do move off the bottom on goal difference, but are still quite a distance from the rest of the field and for JEF United the gap to Sendai in third has grown to six points. JEF United next host struggling Iga and Takatsuki visit Mimasaka.

Unused subs: Nemoto Mio, Tsurumi Ayaka, Shimada Ayako

Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies  0 - 1  Albirex Niigata Ladies
(Attendance: 1,902)

Urawa did all of the attacking but it was Niigata, who only had two shots at goal, who came away with the victory which they will hope signals a return to better form. Niigata captain Kamionobe Megumi headed home the winner in the thirty-fourth minute, and this victory pulls Niigata up to sixth in the table and away from trouble. Urawa are fifth and looking more unlikely every week to reclaim their title. They next visit the in-form Sendai, with Niigata hosting Beleza.

AS Elfen Saitama  0 - 4  Vegalta Sendai Ladies
(Attendance: 650)

Sendai's fourth consecutive win was as straightforward as they come, with the home side struggling to stem the Vegalta attackers. Ono Hitomi gave Sendai a 1-0 lead at the break and in the second half young substitutes Inoue Ayaka and Sasaki Miwa added three more, with Sasaki's goal her first for the club since joining from Tokiwagi Gakuen. Sendai next host champions Urawa; Saitama visit Kochi where they will play INAC Kobe.

Iga FC Kunoichi  0 - 2  INAC Kobe Leonessa
(Attendance: 5,110)

Iga had by far their largest attendance of the season so far today, but had to go to Nagoya to get it, and they unsurprisingly succumbed to a two-goal defeat to leaders INAC Kobe. Takase Megumi kept up her record of scoring in every goal she has played in this season with the early opener, and in the second half Kyokawa Mai netted her sixth of the season. Iga's final game before the August break is away to JEF United; INAC Kobe host Saitama in Kochi Prefecture, fully expecting to avenge last year's surprise 1-0 defeat.

Iga FC Kunoichi:
Kuno Fubuki, Miyasako Tamami, Ohashi Mio, Hatanaka Miyuka, Nasu Maiko (capt), Suzuki Kaoruko, Noichi Aya, Sugita Ami, Haji Madoka, Sonomura Nana, Gloria Douglas
